The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday announced that 781 out of 1,388 (56.27%) passed the various grades of the written phase of the Marine Engineer Officers Licensure Examinations given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila this May 2011.

CPA May 2011 Board Passers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,130 out of 5,259 (40.50%) passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May 2011.

The PRC noted that any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on their part, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves. Concerned schools may write the Commission for correction, the PRC said.

May 2011 Civil Engineers Board Exam Results

         The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 1,195 out of 3,117 passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.
         The exam was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May 2011.
         The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination, the PRC said.
         Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 23, 2011 but not later than June 10, 2011.

Many are anxious about the release of Teachers Exam this April 2011. According to REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7836, The Board shall, within one hundred twenty (120) days after the examination, report the ratings obtained by each candidate to the Professional Regulation Commission for approval and appropriate action. However previous experiences show that examination results are released within forty (40) days after the examination. The board exam last September 2010, results were released after fifty (50) days. The results for Teachers Exam on April 4, 2011 has been released on May 13, 2011 or thirty-nine (39) days after the last day of examination.

April 2011 Midwife Board Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,181 out of 2,797 (42.22%) passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last April 2011.

The members of the Board of Midwifery who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro, Chairman; Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Ms. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez, Members.
